Inspecting a stack
Move over a stack to inspect its content.

Managing stacks of counters

You can create a stack of counters by dragging-and-dropping a counter on top of another counter. Counters in the same stack can be handled together.

Inspecting a stack

When you move the mouse cursor over a stack of counters, that stack will spread temporarily so that you can inspect its content.

Moving, flipping or rotating a stack

You can move, flip or rotate a whole stack just like you do for a single counter. As long as the mouse cursor is over the counter at the bottom of the stack, all commands will apply to the whole stack.

If the mouse cursor is over a counter in the middle of a stack, the commands will only apply to the upper part of the stack, and will not affect the counters below the one pointed at.

Splitting a stack

To split a stack in two, move the mouse cursor over a counter in the middle of the stack, then drag-and-drop the upper part of the stack to a new location. The lower part of the stack will stay at its current location.

Use the stack inspector to rearrange large stacks.

Using the stack inspector

The stack inspector is an advanced feature that helps you manage and rearrange large stacks.

To invoke the stack inspector, double-click with the left button on a stack. The content of the stack is now displayed in a pane at the left border of the sceen. That's the stack inspector.

You can click on counters in the stack inspector to select or deselect them, or drag-and-drop them.

Hit Esc or click the cross icon to hide the stack inspector.

Reordering counters in a stack

To change the position of a counter in its stack, drag-and-drop it to its new position in the stack inspector.

Flipping a single counter in a stack

If you right double-click a stack of counters on the board, all the counters will be flipped. If you right double-click a counter in the stack inspector, only that counter will be flipped.

Rotating a single counter in a stack

If you rotate the mouse wheel over a counter in the stack inspector, you will change the orientation of that counter only.

Inserting counters at a given position in a stack

You're not limited to adding counters on top of a stack. You can directly insert counters in the middle of a stack by invoking the stack inspector for that stack and then dragging-and-dropping the counters from the board into the stack inspector.

You can merge two stacks in the same way.

Removing a single counter from a stack

To remove a single counter from a stack, just drag-and-drop that counter from the stack inspector to an empty location on the board.

Or you can hit Del if you simply want to re-attach that counter to its counter sheet.

Splitting a stack

To split a stack in two, deselect all the counters that you want to stay in that stack, then click an empty location on the board. A new stack will be created containing the selected counters.
