Windows is a lot larger installation base than iOS! Just charge for your product. And leaving out Android is a big misstake. I don't have any apple products so no v2 for me I guess. :( But I have lots of Windows computers and Android devices! Thanks for the clarifications; I've since seen from some ...

Development....

Hi Jerome. I'm hoping your are still planning on developing this excellent program, maybe just busy with life? :) I keep checking back, but haven't seen any updates for awhile. THere are a few additions that if made would make this the best program avaiolable for what I want to do. I've discussed th...

Features Discussion....

I thought I'd put a list together of things I'd love to see go into an updated ZunTzu. Its a lot and at least half of them are already on the Roadmap, some might already be in ZunTzu :)? I've listed them here so ZunTzu users can have a discussion about them if you like. Please list anythng else you ...

Roadmap Update...

Hi Jerome. First off, this is not a complaint from some demanding user. I haven't been around in awhile and thougt I'd check back to see how things are going. Just wondering if you are still developing this excellent program. We really really need something like this. With a few additions I could st...

Sorry, Dean, that didn't do it. I know that my script is exactly like the example posted on the Support page. I went over it carefully dozens of times. I may have to email Jerome directly. Have you been able to run any game-boxes that you designed yourself? Thanks again, Dave First thing Iwould do ...

Possible Save Bug..

I know there is the save bug that asks you to save a game when exiting ZT even though you never changed anything, but there seems to be another one if I'm not totally mistaken. I created a test gamebox that had two different scenarios. I opened up the gamebox, moved some counters around to other boa...

Hi Jerome, I know you are busy with other useful things, but thought I'd list a few ideas I have been having. I also realize that some of these are in your Raodmap in one form or another, just thought I'd put a few of my ideas down before they are gone out of my head! :) Some might even be in ZT alr...

Is the game-box.xml changing as well? In the future, scenarios will be completely defined in ZunTzu - unlike today where you have to start from a dummy hand written scenario. The scenarios will use a new binary file format. The game box will be designed through a stand-alone tool - I should be able...

Why do you need that information? The syntax is about to change so I would prefer that you didn't rely on it and instead build scenarios using ZunTzu. Just interested in learning all the syntax. My idea was to create a gamebox that acts as a tutorial that basically had all the terrain, cards, count...

I used terrain in 1851. Here's a snippet: <terrain-sheet name="Stock Price Index" front-image-file="SPI.png" front-resolution="150 dpi" > <terrain-section front-left="1" front-top="1" front-right="1611" front-bottom="1229"/> </te...

scenarios syntax...

Jerome is it possible to get the full syntax for the scenarios file similar to what you posted on the gamebox-grammer webpage in support?

Thanks,

Re: terrain-sheet....

Jerome, I got this from an older post: Terrains sheets are defined just like counter sheets, except you need to replace "counter-sheet" with "terrain-sheet" and "counter-section" with "terrain-section". Could you point me to a game-box that uses terrains so I...

Yes, the dashes are a must (and you have to use the start and end comment tags). One of the quick easy ways I check my XML syntax is to open the xml file in my browser (IE7) which will format the file and verify the XML syntax. This helps me catch missing "/>" versus ">" markup....

Re: game-box.xml formatting....

Jerome, easy question. Is it OK to have blank lines just for ease of reading in the game-box.xml file? If possible, what is the syntax to add comments to the file? Thanks, Morval I tried blank lines, looks like its OK. I also looked into another game-box and looks like comments are done like this.....
