The Arduous Beginning now posted in the Files section.

Once again I've included "scenarios" that enable you to play multiple games at once (and even one that allows you to play 25 games - but you'll need quite a lot of RAM and time for that :) )

The latest change I did was a minor correction on the main game board. I simply modified and replaced the jpg in the game-box. Same name, same resolution... but the hash changes and my save-files does not work even if I modify them and replaced the hash with the new one. I can load the game-box (zt...

Is he running Windows XP or Vista, and does he have an up to date 3D graphics card (supporting Directx 7 or higher)?

Because if not (and I'm not that technically proficient), that's probably the cause of his problem.

Then it sounds like a problem specific to his computer - can he download and run other gameboxes?

ZunTzu.FileSystem.f: File "tarjetas de daños.jpg" not found in archive
Well it just looks as if this file is not in the gamebox (or it is named differently from the one listed in the game-box.xml or scenario file - remember it's case sensitive).

John,

You don't need to write any code for that - if you want to hide a board from your opponent, you simply select its tab and click on the "Eye" icon.

So, ¿does my jpg have anything wrong?
Yes, it does look like it's your jpeg that's causing the problem.

Try loading it into another graphics package and saving it again (maybe change it to a png).

Hi byfed, It looks like you have two issues here: 1) The dice appearing black is the result of a well-known bug in ZunTzu (when running under Vista) that manifests itself when the screen is re-sized/redrawn. 2) You need to change the capitalization in your .zts file from: <layout board="Tablero...

Steve,

You need to capitalize the names of your map and counters in your zts file:
<layout board="Airbornemap" />
<layout board="Airbornecounters" />

Victory Point Games

New gamebox added (and many more to come from VPG games :D ) - Operation Veritable.

It allows you to play up to 6 games at once (all my gameboxes will have this feature from now on :D ).

[Post] Tue May 26, 2009 3:18 pm Reply with quote Is there a way to make the dice in the upper left hand corner larger or to keep them on the board when they are rolled? It would be helpful with this gamebox if either of those were possible since there are symbols on the box about the size of pips o...

How do I set up the option to rotate a counter to be facing a specific side of the hex? Just put the cursor over the counter/stack and move the scroll wheel on your mouse (or use the cursor keys). The other stuff is not possible at the moment (and assigning movement factors to pieces probably never...

Not sure what's wrong here, because your code seems fine. The only thing wrong that I noticed is that your mask file should be a .png and not a .jpg.
