Re: Good!

Also, a little more clarification on nonsquare counters and getting them to work would be nice. I'm going through the gameboxes I can find to get ideas and playing with it but it's a slow process to figure it out. It's explained here: http://www.zuntzu.com/create_gamebox-3.htm#mask but I assume tha...

Re: Card Games

Is it possible to make game boxes based on games such as Magic: the gathering? I'm new to this and I have a card game design of this type and would like to know if it's possible. It should be possible yes. Check out the poker gamebox to see cards in action. My own Twilight Struggle and Thirty Years...

Gameboxes end in ztb, that's what zuntzu needs.
Scenario's/Save files end with zts. Don't try to open these unless you're already in a game and want a different setup of all the pieces.

You just need the one ztb file. Usually that's the file you download from the files section here.

I don`t know exactly, but it must be (0,0). In all examples that I saw always is 0,0. Yes, that's why I asked. In the samples it's always (0,0). But I always set it at (1,1) in my gamemodules and that seems to work fine as well. You see: If you set the first pixel at (0,0) and your image is 100x100 ...

Top-Left pixel in a file...

Is the very first pixel in an image file located at (0,0) or (1,1) ?

And does that matter?

Re: Mustangs

I've reworked the module. * Added a transparant target-sheet. Makes it easier to see what the shooting dice roll modifier will be from your position. Just place it over the target plane and rotate the sheet till you have the same heading. * Added small track-sheets and moved the advanced ones away f...

No it's not (yet) possible. The only thing you can currently do with Terrains is rotate them and move them. There's no existing way to link counters or other game elements to them, but it would be nice. I see. OK. thanks Bill! We just have to drag around the markers then as well. Or find a nice spo...

Re: error in card-section

I would use counter section instead of card section but the problem is that when you put the mouse over it the cards are separated and it is not very good for cards. In a card section you just use one image file. Not a front- and back-image file as with counters. In that one image file you point to...

Only if you define the map as a "Terrain" (and minor hassles are that you need to turn on "Terrain Editing" first, and that the counters are invisible while in this mode). I tried this on the 1851 module, which has some terrain tiles. But I cannot rotate the terrain tile WITH th...

Mustangs

I've created a Mustangs module, including all expansion/the general counters. When you open the game you will see 2 extra player aid charts, covering the board. The idea is to put one of these charts in your "card-hand" so that you can look up all (basic game) charts during the game withou...

No, it does not work for me. :( Thanks for the help though.

Username and Password problem in this forum

Unrelated to the software sorry! But I have this small inconvenience. I don't know if I'm the only one, but often (around 80%) do I have to retype my username and pasword to log into this forum. Usually the first time around I get a message that I typed the incorrect pasword or username even though ...

Re: Card front and back

The front card is on file and back card is on other file. Hey DarkJo, to make cards -unlike counters!- you need to have the backside included in the same imagefile as all the front sides. If you want to see the XML-code for it, download the Poker module that was created by Jerome. It's a clear exam...
