Ludika, a new VTT for board gaming that can give ZTBs new life

Hi folks,

Ludika VTT is currently running a Kickstarter campaign. It's currently nearly 60% funded, and the project is a recipient of the Next Wave Fund, and Kickstarter also gave it "Project We Love" status.

The reason I'm posting about it here is because Ludika will be able to accept ZTB game boxes and convert them to its own web-hosted format. So given that there are now 1100+ game boxes for ZT, there could basically be 1100+ games to use on this new VTT in short order, and those games can continue to be enjoyed for many more years to come.

Does Jerome still visit the ZT forums from time to time? I'm curious if he'd be willing to help us spread the word about this (assuming he's supportive of our project extending the life of ZT game boxes), since this post won't be seen by all that many people.

We appreciate these announcements - having more e-platforms is a boon to our hobby; especially in reaching the younger generations

Yes, Jerome still lurks on the Forums but truthfully, as a working-family man, he also knows all the regular ZT Volunteers keep ZT running on a day-to-day basis. Most Volunteers are older than Jerome and mostly retired (recently, like me!).

On important issues, he weighs in on solving issues we report, including what is written on the ZT Forums.

In fact, you WILL soon see a Jerome directed development that might help us gain data on why ZT2nd site, has been so volatile in accessing the site. As always, he continues his work 'behind-the-scenes.'

Keep an eye on the forums - more to come about this development!

After checking our prior conversation:

I want to clarify that ZunZtu is still in development. Aa a Windows based system, we have been able to keep up with the massive changes Windows has made these past few years!

However, there has been little move in developing/porting to other operating systems

Some years ago, ZT went full open source. For software developers/C## Programmers see https://github.com/ZunTzu-Software/ZunTzu.

Anyone wanting to port ZunZtu to another operating is encouraged to do so ... And if someone does; we want to hear from you

I apologize for any misinformation -expect ZT 2nd server (ZT2) to be around to host all ZTBs encountered

OK, thanks for the clarification.

The Ludika Kickstarter was successfully funded, so the app should go live around late September.

I might post a short video soon showing how importing ZunTzu gameboxes will work.
