Sorry for the naivity of this question, but I am still new to this program. I understand how to add counters, but how do I add cards. Is there a difference?

Also is there a way to add none flippable objects, such as chess pieces?

The playing cards are not yet documented. Sorry.
I recommend you download the Poker game box from the Files section and you look inside the game-box.xml file to see how cards are declared.

Yes. If you provide only a front image for a counter sheet, the counters will not be flippable.
