I've got Vista Home Basic running on a Dell laptop. When I download ZunTzu the progress bar fills up and then nothing happens. I've read all the other tech support posts and I've got the latest .NET installed. I've shut down the computer and rebooted but still the same: nothing. No error messages. Nothing.
Anyone have any ideas?
And I'm not tech savvy sorry to say.
Thanks for any help.
Failed Vista Install-nothing happens

Thanks for the quick response Jerome. Yes I am using Internet Explorer 8. It is my default browser. I don't have any other. (If this means anything, I get a failed message everytime I try to update to Internet Explorer 9.) I've reloaded .NET from the links you gave in earlier posts and also from Windows update. Window's update says I've got the latest version installed. I believe it's .NET 4. I've also rebooted after each change in my system and it makes no difference. The download link starts, I give it permission to proceed. (I have administrator privileges) the progress bar fills up, and then nothing happens. I"m hoping you can help me solve this. I see other posters that are using Vista so maybe I can too. --FrankJerome wrote:Hi!
Are you using Internet Explorer?
Does it work if you make Internet Explorer your default browser?
Ah Jerome, you did it! It works! I turned off User Account Control, rebooted, downloaded ZunTzu and the program installed perfectly. I turned User Account Control back on, rebooted and started ZunTzu. It ran perfectly! Amazing. Thank you so very much.Jerome wrote:Could you try switching User Account Control off?
